Nature speaks to us, but only if we listen.
As photographers, it is easy to become so focused on capturing the image we have in mind that we forget to appreciate the privilege of being outdoors, exploring the beauty that surrounds us. I have come to realize that returning home without the shot can still be a success. A success because you tried.
As I often tell my son, "The winner is the one who tries."
The collections are a blend of luck, patience, and planning. Yet every image shares one thing in common: it is part of my ongoing journey to capture wildlife within its natural context. More and more, I strive to create photographs that convey not only the subject itself, but also the atmosphere, the environment, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world we are fortunate to share and that we all have a responsibility to cherish and respect.
This is a continuous journey, and my focus now is to create images that complement and expand these collections.
