A weekend in the mountains of Dovre with musk oxen, guided by Even (@moskusguiden) – what an experience! And what a guide. The deep respect we were taught to show for nature brought out the best in both us and the musk oxen, making the encounter feel even more special. Being surrounded by like-minded people made the hikes even more enjoyable—lots of laughter, great conversations, and unforgettable moments.
I had hoped for harsh winds or freezing temperatures to add to the wild atmosphere, but nature decides, and I wouldn’t change a thing about this trip. I’ll definitely be back to experience these incredible animals again.
