Visiting Fulufjället National Park during winter has long been a dream of mine. In November 2023, I finally had the chance to spend a day exploring this stunning landscape, with a specific goal in mind: photographing the Siberian Jay.
Known for its friendly and curious nature, the Siberian Jay has a quirky fondness for "falukorv," a traditional Swedish sausage. Despite the cloudy weather, it was a joy to observe and photograph this beautiful bird against the park's serene, snow-dusted backdrop.
Though this was just a brief visit, it left me inspired to return in the future, hopefully with clearer skies and more time to soak in the park’s winter wonderland.
